This renovation project in La Duquesa on the Costa del Sol involved a complete 75 m² terrace overhaul, focused on professional waterproofing, updated utilities, and the installation of a durable and high-quality outdoor floor.

After the removal of the old surface, the entire terrace was fully waterproofed using the SCHLÜTER system, renowned for its effectiveness and long-term moisture resistance – especially important for coastal environments like the Costa del Sol.

Next, a new plumbing system was installed, including a water point for an outdoor shower and terrace tap – perfect for Mediterranean outdoor living. In addition, electrical pre-installation with connections for multiple outlets was carried out to provide future-use flexibility.

To enhance the terrace’s look, the facades were coated with white fine-layer mortar, giving the space a clean and bright appearance ideal for sunny outdoor areas.

Finally, a new terrace floor was laid, including steps and skirting, resulting in a neat and durable finish.
